Dear International Students at Hokkaido University
You can decide on a residence to live in Sapporo even before you arrive in Japan.

We have a limited number of “5 properties” that are popular among international students.
These 5 properties are located near Hokkaido University. You can commute to the university on foot or by bicycle.
You can apply for housing before entering Japan and proceed with the contract process.
Please feel free to decide on a Sapporo residence before entering Japan.

How to decide where to live & procedures

START <What to do before entering Japan

STEP1
  1. Select a property and send an e-mail
  2. From the “International Student Property Introduction Form,” select your first choice of property, then select your second or third choice of property, fill in the required information, and submit the e-mail form.
STEP2
  1. Vacancy information will be sent to you by e-mail.
  2. You will receive an email from “Rental Life Corporation”, the lessor of the property, with the availability of your desired property.
STEP3
  1. Decide the date of contract and move-in date
  2. Decide the date of contract and the date of move-in after consultation. The room you will move into will be decided.
STEP4
  1. Pay the contract fee
  2. Pay the full amount of the contract fee before entering Japan.

GOAL <After entering Japan

STEP5
  1. Receive the key to the apartment
  2. On the day you move in, you will receive the key to your residence and an explanation about your room.

★You will be able to move in after all the procedures described in STEP 1. to 5. above are completed.

住まいの決め方＆手続き

START <入国前にすること>

STEP1
  1. 物件を選んでメール送信
  2. 「留学生物件紹介フォーム」から、第一希望物件を選択、第二～第三希望物件も選択して、必要事項を入力してメールフォームを送信する。
STEP2
  1. 空室情報がメールで届く
  2. 物件の貸主である「株式会社 賃貸生活」から、希望物件の空室状況がメールで届きます。
STEP3
  1. 契約日と入居日を決める
  2. 契約日と入居日を相談のうえ決めます。入居するお部屋が決まります。
STEP4
  1. 契約費用を支払う
  2. 入国前に契約費用を全額支払います。

GOAL <入国後>

STEP5
  1. 住まいの鍵を受け取る
  2. 入居日に住まいの鍵を受け取り、お部屋に関する説明を受けます。

★上記記載のSTEP 1.～5.までの手続きなどがすべて完了した後に、入居することができます。
